Pirates in Mani
Inside looking out! The Mavros (Black) pirate cave. This extraordinary nature creation, homing bright turquoise waters, is located about five nautical miles south of Oitylo bay. It once used to be a pirates’ refuge. At those times (17th century) a “fusta” could be accommodated inside the cave without being visible from outside.
Short visits by boat can be arranged on request.
